Container Facilities Supporting Strategic Investment in Poland’s Leading Economic Zone
A major South Korean energy and chemical company, SK Innovation, has launched its first investment in Poland, building a high-tech facility in one of the country’s most dynamic industrial hubs – the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSEZ). This strategic project focuses on the production of advanced lithium-ion battery separators for electric vehicles, with a projected output of 470 million square meters annually. By the end of 2021, the plant is expected to create over 300 new jobs.
Recognized by the Financial Times as Europe’s top special economic zone (2015–2017), the KSEZ continues to attract global investors with its modern infrastructure, competitive investment conditions, and skilled workforce. To date, companies operating in the zone have generated more than PLN 36 billion in investments and created over 80,000 jobs.
For the temporary infrastructure supporting the early stages of the investment, a total of 92 modular units were delivered. These included construction site containers, office units, welfare (social) containers, and sanitary facilities. The modular solution ensured rapid deployment, functional workspace, and full compliance with occupational safety standards.
Our modular container systems provide scalable and reliable solutions for large-scale industrial developments across Europe. This project demonstrates our capacity to support high-tech investments by delivering comprehensive, ready-to-use container infrastructure tailored to the unique needs of the energy and automotive sectors.
